The public is invited to consult the information on the project and send their comments to connectptbo.ca/msc.
The establishment of a Municipal Services Corporation, or MSC, would allow the City to retain control over future housing development projects. Additionally, an MSC operating as a public enterprise (EPG) would reduce the City’s debt capacity issues, allowing for new approaches to developing rental housing.
The results of this consultation will be included with recommendations for the creation of the Municipal Services Corporation in a report that is expected to be considered by Council in May.
Further information, including general information on municipal service companies and previous reports to council, is available at connectptbo.ca/msc.
